Company mission

To deliver full-electric trucks and revolutionise vehicle ownership, supporting and accelerating industry towards sustainable operations.

Our take

In cities, car fumes significantly add to the overall pollution levels which can be damaging to both the climate and a population's health. Swedish company Volta Trucks is setting out to be the leader of zero emissions transport and accelerate the transition to fully electric trucks.

With looming bans on fossil-fuel vehicles in countries around the world, many startups and traditional manufacturers are competing to bring electric vehicles to the market. Volta has been testing its prototypes throughout 2022, and is now preparing to enter full scale production.

The company has continued to raise significant funding and attracted thousands of pre-orders for the 2023 launch of the "Volta Zero". This is clear validation for Volta's continued progress, and suggests there is a strong need for the product in the market. With that in mind, the company seems well set to make a significant impact in this growing market.
