To make mental health and wellbeing discoverable, aspirational, and culturally relevant. Woo aims to engage with Gen Z (and Gen Y) with their passion points: music, fashion, activism, and culture but through a wellness lens.
Online media platforms are often heavily targeted at a youthful audience, but many young people feel that existing media platforms are out of touch with the youth. Generation Z is becoming increasingly concerned with mental health, wellbeing, and cultural relevance in the media that they consume, and this presents an obvious gap in the market.
Woo produces a wellbeing-driven media platform concerning music, fashion, art, and culture, with the target audience of Generation Z. The content will be published on ITV Hub and major social media networks, with the online marketplace consisting of 60 partnered D2C dropshipping brands being launched soon after.
Although other media platforms such as VICE and i-D also target Generation Z, Woo stands out for their unique concept of combining the efforts of digital media influencers with a partnered dropshipping marketplace. The media platform will launch in March 2022, with the online marketplace following shortly after in September.
