Our take
Industrial robots hve transformed manufacturing, allowing mass production at unporecendented speed and precision. But as robots have become more capable, they have also become more complex and significantly harder to programs. That growing skill gap is what Wandelbot is setting out to address.
Wandelbots' app allows for accessible robotics programming to be done by almost anyone - drastically lowering the cost for manufacturers. One of its unique features is its ‘TracePen’ - a physical tool that connects to the app and allows you to demonstrate an action (such as welding a new seam) onto the workpiece for the robot to follow.
Wandelbots is a market leader - it’s won awards from Tech Crunch and Forbes, and counts the likes of Volkswagen and BMW among its clients. Looking forward, it wants to bring in developer tools to help developers create their own robotics teaching softwares.
