Company mission

To improve performance and redefine the way the industry views indoor cycling.

Our take

Wattbike is an indoor smart bike aiming to improve the way cyclists approach their training. The company worked with sport scientists and engineers to create effective indoor cycling training capable to suit the needs of both elite athletes and beginners.

The bike differentiates itself from other indoor trainers through the fact that it employs chains and sprockets in order to replicate as much as possible the sensation of riding on the road. The bike uses precision magnetic resistance in order to ensure the bike stays quiet during training. Moreover, the bike uses its patented Polar View technology to analyse data and display insights and training recommendations to riders in real-time.

Wattbike counts world and Olympic champions across all sports among its clients, such as Lizzie Deignan (2015 World Road Race Champion), Joanna Rowsell-Shand (2 x Olympic Gold Medallist) and Lucy Gossage (13 x Ironman Champion).

Wattbike has recently launched a podcast, presented by former endurance athlete and broadcaster Louise Minchin - who is an avid Wattbike user herself. The podcast can be streamed on the company's website, Spotify and Apple.
