Our take

As the public’s access to and interest in trading and investing grows, and more importantly, diversifies, WealthKernel makes it easier for FinTechs to serve their customers by building API-based digital trading infrastructure.

In the UK, around 6 million adults now use at least one investment app, a number which is expected to grow in the future. What’s particularly interesting about WealthKernel’s approach is the diversity of its clients’ pursuits. Wahed, for example, is an online halal ethical investment platform, while Claro Money is a coaching financial planning app.

While it's a pretty competitive field for customer-facing trade and investment FinTechs, the market growth suggests that it's a prime time to be in WealthKernel’s position building infrastructure for these companies.
