Our take
Finding and sharing knowledge within a company is hard. You might need a highly specific piece of information, but it’s hidden away in a long internal wiki page, or in one of your colleague’s heads. Often, you’ll end up booking a video call or direct messaging them for an answer that should be readily available. Whatis solves this problem by helping companies manage their team’s highly contextual, short-form knowledge - internal jargon, terms, acronyms.
Whatis is a next-generation workplace productivity tool that is part knowledge management and part collaboration, already being used by companies such as Wealthsimple, databricks and gettyimages.
As a Slack integration, the tool is easily accessible to companies and truly a product of the rise of remote working. However, they may be cutting off potential customers using other internal communication softwares.
