Our take
Scheduling and workforce management can often be a headache for companies, especially larger ones. When I Work’s platform helps companies cut costs and save time through time tracking, employee scheduling, and team messaging, providing a one size fits all solution to managing teams.
Having secured major investment in recent years due to trend towards greater flexibility at work, the company is now used by more than 200,000 shift-based workplaces and continues on a strong trajectory.
It’s won numerous awards in 2023 from the likes of software rating platform Crozdesk and has acquired several management platforms to elevate its suite of products, including Lean Financial, a fintech startup offering financial products for the flexible workforce, including on-demand pay. 2024 saw the company introduce When I Work Payroll, a time-tracking tool for small companies. This indicates a continued push to find savvy solutions for time-constrained businesses.
