Our take

Who Gives a Crap is a B Corp certified company that manufactures recycled-paper and bamboo toilet roll, alongside other eco-friendly paper-based household products. The company donates 50% of its profits to building sanitary facilities in developing countries, and has funded projects to the tune of millions to date.

Originally founded in Melbourne, the direct to consumer brand now serves multiple markets across the UK, US, Canada, Australia and Europe. The company's commendable message and sustainability credentials have resonated strongly with consumers, especially as more and more people aim to put their purchasing power to good.

With over 40% of the world's population still lacking access to safe toilets, and almost 800 children per day dying from diseases caused by poor water and sanitation, Who Gives a Crap is well positioned to make a real impact to people's lives. The brand continues to grow in popularity, and has secured its first retail listing with Waitrose, which will see its products roll out to 240 of the supermarket's stores.
