WhoCo's mission is to build teams that move the world forward.
Hiring the right talent is reported as a top concern among CEOs. The process can also cost upwards of $4,000 and is frequently the largest spend in HR budgets. WhoCo help organizations make smart, tailored, data-driven hiring decisions.
WhoCo’s product offers a raft of features including interview prompts, interview coordination, data gathering and insights, and on-call expert counsel. It also claims to help reduce bias, a hot topic as the focus on DEI increases.
Their founding team is promising, with experience building teams at Google, Amazon, AOL, and Verizon, as well as experience taking MySpace, Gravity, and Patch from the startup stages to major acquisitions. It will be interesting to see if they can do the same with WhoCo.

Throughout my career, I've been annoyed with hiring processes that favor certain people over others without regard to skill. WhoCo is doing something about the problem in a really obvious, easy way, and it's so inspiring.

My manager is really here for me. We talk every week to find out what's going on with me and what's coming up, and she ends each call by asking what she can do to help me. When I'm struggling, she helps me figure it out—and likewise, she acknowledges when I'm killing it.

When joining a startup, it can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. Things move quickly and change often...WhoCo is no exception to that! But that also means you have the opportunity to involve yourself in different projects, work with different teams, and figure out where your strengths are. Since joining WhoCo, my job description has changed a lot, I've been pushed outside of my comfort zone and challenged, but this has given me the opportunity to learn so many useful new skills. I'm also fortunate to work with some of the brightest people I know. No day feels the same and I love that!

Because of how fast things can change there may be moments where you find yourself a little unsure or confused, but not to worry...our managers and leaders are always there when you need them. No matter how busy they are, I appreciate that they will make the time to check-in, ask questions, and offer support or advice. In fact, our executive team encourages us to reach out to them whenever we need to. Our managers are very passionate about what we do and the success of every single person on the team.

There's a lot of autonomy and empowerment to work the schedule that works for you; as long as you're getting your work done, you can flex your schedule to meet your needs. Very low stress environment in this regard and I feel like it makes me more productive, since I'm not just focusing on my hours worked but the actual content of my work. I really appreciate the flexibility and understanding of implementing your work schedule into your everyday life.

I appreciate that there are explanations given when changes are made, of why the change is being implemented along with some data to back it up. Leadership is willing to recognize if something is not working and work to find a better solution that they believe will be beneficial in the long-run, not just short-term.
