Our take
Wildchain sits at the intersection of three different trends: mobile gaming, blockchain applications and climate awareness.
The innovation lab is providing a wholly unique path for conservation projects to raise funds through applying the blockchain play-to-earn model to its mobile game, Wildchain: Save the Savanna, which relies on representing real endangered animals as tradable NFTs.
The company is looking to engage more of the 2.2 billion mobile gamers worldwide as well as innovate and refine the product.
While Wildchain’s mission will surely continue to appeal, mobile games and blockchain enthusiasts are both known to be fickle groups of users. The company will have to continually innovate and improve the product to keep up with rapidly shifting user interests.
