Company mission

To empower people to move towards a clean future.

Our take

Electric cars are much better for the environment than conventional engine cars, but their adoption has been relatively slow. Striving to help limit carbon emissions and aid the climate crisis is Wirelane, an EV charging infrastructure provider.

Founded in 2016, the company has grown to offer a full suite of hardware, software and services that create charging frameworks for both public and private customers. It offers charging stations as well as software designed to enable customers to access their charging operations and take payments seamlessly.

With customers ranging from larger scale hotel car parks to neighbourhood charging stations, the company has a broad range of use cases. A large dose of funding will allow Wirelane to continue expansion as it drives its mission to become the leading charging solution across Germany and speed up the adoption of EVs.

Company values

  • Circularity - We want to empower people to move towards a clean future; therefore, we want to push for ‘circular’ solutions, big and small, in our day-to-day work – because we know that the only way to create a brighter and cleaner future is to have an awareness for resources and energy and to create sustainable ways to re-use, refurbish, re-manufacture, and recycle
  • Courage - In order to make things better, you need to have the courage to raise and answer the uncomfortable questions that hold things back. Therefore, we want to build a culture of courage where you can be brave and audacious in your questions and solutions in order to move Wirelane forward and prepare for future change
