Businesses often struggle to rank well in search engine results, especially for competitive keywords. Traditional keyword research can be a time-consuming and ineffective process, leaving creators lost in the complexities of search engine optimization (SEO).
Wordlift takes a unique approach to SEO by focusing on "entities" instead of keywords - for example relevant nouns, places and things. Its AI-powered tool analyses search results, and identifies relevant entities. It then generates JSON-LD markups, a structured data format that helps Google understand the true meaning of content. This allows users to create content that naturally attracts higher rankings among their target audience.
The company's innovative approach positions it well for the future of SEO, which is moving towards deeper semantic understanding. With its multilingual capabilities and focus on user-friendliness, the tool has the potential to allow businesses of all sizes to excel in the ever-evolving online landscape.

Being part of the Product team at WordLift has given me the opportunity to work on some of the most interesting AI-powered tools used for SEO. The work is complex but very rewarding, and it feels great to know that the things you are building are one of a kind and ahead of the curve.

When I joined WordLift I was immediately given the responsibility to work on exciting and valuable tasks. Under the guidance of my senior colleagues, I was able to learn and grow as a software engineer and I saw my skills grow rapidly. Working together with other teams in the company has also given me the opportunity to learn outside of my domain, especially in the areas of AI and SEO.

I joined WordLift remotely, but I was quickly acquainted with most of the people in the company, all of which welcoming and friendly! After a couple of months I visited the company in Rome and met the team in person which was a very fun time. The company is represented by people of various nationalities and backgrounds, so it was also interesting to learn about different experiences. It feels great to not only work with world-class experts, but also have a great time in a casual environment with them.

The complexity lies in two main aspects: firstly, navigating a dynamic environment alongside pioneering products and strategies, and secondly, fostering collective growth within the team. Moreover, the most significant challenge arises from assuming a new role and ensuring its successful execution. Nonetheless, the diligent efforts have yielded substantial personal and professional development opportunities.

When I came to WordLift I had little experience in SEO and tech companies, and little familiarity with some of the tools I use in my daily work. Working here has meant, and means to this day, learning something new every day. No matter how big or small, I always came home with a little extra piece of knowledge.

In WordLift none of my opinions are unheard. Right from the start I could decide what to do, even making mistakes. I learned to take responsibility and the risks of my actions, but I was never punished. Each fail was a lesson learned for the future.
