Western societies are largely moving away from cash to card for most transactions. However, last to catch up is the hospitality industry, leaving plenty of opportunity for payment innovators.
YetiPay provides payment devices for restaurants and bars. Their devices generate more tips and save waiting staff time and hassle. At the same time, their devices also provide a better experience for diners with simple item-by-item bill splitting without the need to resort to using calculators.
The startup has driven a modest £10 million in transaction volume in its first year. To improve tips, its Tap to Tip device has an exclusive distribution deal with TiPJAR and is available in over 300 bars and restaurants across the U.K.

Though small, everyone on our team pulls their weight + some. Not only that, but if I need help, I know any one of them will be willing to step up even if it means doing something outside the scope of their role. Everyone is focused on improving the company and customer experience.

Even though some people have been with YetiCO longer than others, it makes no difference when it comes to sharing ideas, input, and making changes. I know other company's say this but I mean, no, really, it makes no difference. We're all made to feel equally important to the company's success and encouragement is shared readily.

I had a sense of imposter syndrome when I accepted my role but after just a few hours here when I felt I had some input to share, it was welcomed with open arms. Team members wanted to hear about my experience at other companies and roles, something I wasn't used to! I felt comfortable and able to share without any sense that someone might be defensive or upset.
