To make money rewarding and credit empowering through products people understand and love.
Two of Yonder's founders moved to the UK from Australia and despite having a stable income and a mortgage back in Australia, struggled to access to high quality credit products. After realising this was the case for over 8.3m people in the UK, they wanted to make money rewarding and credit empowering; thus, Yonder was born.
The company promises to offer a modern rewards credit card with no foreign exchange fees, worldwide travel insurance, and more. The team has significant experience in this space, having worked for multiple years at ClearScore, one of the UK's largest consumer credit marketplaces. By prioritising the customer, not the bank, Yonder offer a highly appealing alternative to traditional credit card options.
The company's partnership with Ophelos, a tech firm building fairer debt resolution for businesses, is another step in the direction of the customer. Further, the company has secured significant additional funding to expand into new verticals and launch in new UK cities. As over 30 million people use a credit card just in the UK, Yonder's market potential is huge.

The people at Yonder are GREAT. The atmosphere in the office is always fun, people are genuinely excited to help you, and we all actually really like each other. Makes coming to work every day a joy (something I've never experienced before!). We also have an office dog who comes in a couple days a week, which makes the atmosphere even better.

At Yonder we are genuinely trying to disrupt the credit industry - first with a rewards card that actually works for the customer, and longer-term by making money rewarding and credit empowering for everyone. There's a huge opportunity to make a difference to people's lives, and the team are all super inspired both by the cool product we have today, and by our longer-term mission.

We talk about "extreme ownership" and "bias to action" as two of our core values, and this is really true in practice as well. I'm the newest member of the team and was able to make major, budget-impacting decisions in my first week. It's great to work at a company that genuinely trusts me to make decisions and learn from any mistakes.

Extreme ownership is a key value at Yonder, I'm free to get on with my work, reprioritise as I see fit and lead development in several product areas. To move at the pace we do, autonomy is essential for every team member and at the end of the week we call out specific examples of this we've seen during the week.

You're trusted to pick the most important and instrumental ways to make an impact in your role. If you need the guidance, support or feedback it's there - but otherwise you're trusted to do the job you've been hired for. It's not just lip service either, it's right there in the values the leadership team live every day; bias towards actions.
