Online communities are are huge part of the internet - as of 2022, 76% of internet users visited an online community of some kind. For brands, though, these communities are often difficult to utilise. This is where Zapnito comes in. Zapnito is hoping to carve out a new niche within the market by offering brands the chance to build their own online communities and connect with the people who really matter to their business.
The idea of allowing brands to directly influence their followers is not a new one - for example, Reddit offers brands the chance to connect with their followers via dedicated Q&A sessions. However, Zapnito's product is unique in that it allows brands to directly shape their own branded communities. Furthermore, it is also able to access a more diverse potential market than most forum platforms. For example, its partnership with Wilmington Healthcare has created a verified peer-to-peer space for UK doctors - something which previously has never existed online to the same extent. Zapnito's ability to serve niche communities as well as big brands could be a huge asset going forward.
In a world where trust in established social media platforms is beginning to slip, and where customer expectations are continually rising, Zapnito's community SaaS platform could be well set for significant growth in the near future, especially with its funding and customer portfolio that boasts the likes of Elsevier, Informa, and McGrawHill.
