Our take

The global freight forwarding market is expected to exceed $250 billion by 2028, and is an incredibly complex market with lots of different companies playing different roles across the supply chain.

There's now enormous scope to use data and smart technology to improve efficiency in the space, so Zencargo has built a platform that uses machine learning and other new technology to rethink how large shipping companies and their customers manage and move cargo.

The company estimates there is trillion dollars “left on the table” from all of the inefficiencies in the supply chain related to things not being in stock when needed, or overstocked, and other inventory mistakes. The scope of this problem, and Zencargo's ability to tackle it, is highlighted by its impressive clientele which includes several of the largest businesses in Europe, including Amazon.
