Company mission

Zoomo's mission is to sustainably transition billions of urban delivery miles from bikes, cars and trucks to light electric vehicles.

131% employee growth in 12 months

Our take

Previously Bolt Bikes, Zoomo is based in Sydney and was created to provide more efficient transport for gig-economy delivery drivers. With their rebrand they have expanded across Australia and to the UK & US.

They are the only e-bike partner of Uber-Eats, offering riders various discounts on rent and accessories. The gig-economy is ever increasing and home delivery is booming. The founders have a unique background in engineering and operations for Deliveroo, which should give them relevant insight into the delivery market.

They pride themselves on reliability and accessibility, providing options to rent, rent to buy or buy a bike with them. Servicing is included and they have servicing points in each city that they operate in. With more people avoiding public transport this year, Zoomo have seen an increase in renters for personal use, namely commuting.

They secured Series A funding in August 2020. They plan to use the new funding to expand their subscription footprint, which means adding physical sales and service centers. The need for these physical sites is what is currently slowing the growth of Zoomo particularly for their rental service.
