Our take

Founded over 30 years ago, boxxe started out as a software licensing specialist called Software Box. They quickly developed extensive expertise in providing organisations with software, systems, and infrastructure security.

After becoming a Ministry of Defence security specialist and a leading service provider to defence and security industries, Software Box was rebranded as SBL and expanded into public sector work.

SBL was acquired by technology entrepreneur Phil Doye in 2019, and rebranded into boxxe, with the core principle of 'making technology human'.

boxxe continues to build on its rich history of providing security to important technological environments, currently expanding increasingly into the public and corporate sectors as one of the most effective companies of its type.
