The Internet of Things has opened the door for complex connectivity, and cuid aims to combine this connectivity with state-of-the-art security devices to create a smart, centralized security platform for real time crime prevention and response.

The company is targeting both consumer security – first in the home, with future plans to serve “everything else” – alongside providing a full-stack monitoring solution for professional security companies. A key thing that cuid emphasises is its ability to reduce false alarms by a staggering 90% through AI-led, cloud-based monitoring.

With the company being its early stages, it is hard to predict its trajectory from here – but, if it to were find foothold, cuid is looking at an extremely lucrative industry, with the home security systems market alone predicted to reach $84.4 billion by 2027.
