Our take
Radiology is a vital component of modern healthcare, with busy departments managing complex workflows in diagnosing and treating a huge range of diseases. Numberous AI solutions have been attempted to make these processes easier to manage, but the specialized nature of each workflow means that products only address individual solutions, making deployment and juggling of these tools extremely difficult in practice. deepc aims to fix that, integrating numerous existing tools into a single operating system for radiology departments to allow radiologists to quickly access the clinical value of these solutions.
In the crowded field of AI-powered MedTech, deepc is somewhat unique in not reinventing the wheel, but rather harnessing what is already available. Aside from greatly accelerating radiology workflows, leading to a shorter time to treatment and a 50% decrease in workload reduction, it also functions as a one-stop-shop for hospitals and clinics to allow them to securely identify and purchase integrated AI tools, providing a benefit to AI companies working in this sector.
deepc has recently closed a Series A funding round led by Sofinnova Partners. This will be used to further develop its platform. It will also use this investment to hire additional talent and to expand its market reach geographically. With an innovative product addressing a vital need, deepc is well poised for further success.
