Our take
The wide range of fintech services available in today’s digital landscape presents hugely flexible options for paying and getting paid, but this is not always simple when two parties do not use the same payment service. Existing API development kits for fintech applications simply do not facilitate such flexibility, and this takes away many of the benefits from such a varied market.
Dots develop an API toolkit designed to provide more flexible solutions for fintech service developers, ultimately allowing businesses to make payments through many fintech providers in an automated manner. Ultimately, this helps businesses provide flexible payout options to their clients, whilst automating and reducing the time they are spending accommodating flexible payout methods. Dots also ultimately reduces the amount of engineering resources required, saving money for all parties. This novel way of using API systems could be an interesting development in the payments industry,
