Our take

E-spaces is an assessment app that is automating assessment marking in real-time and eliminates additional admin work in the classroom. The app helps teachers reduce the need to constantly and manually assess students' work and provides instant feedback on how they're performing.

The app automatically grades during lessons, providing students with a traffic light system that they can use to reflect on what they've learnt. In turn, this helps increase teacher retention and student performance while reducing burnout.

E-spaces is currently working with Herschel Grammar School and Crosthwaite CE Primary School and is partnered with Sunderland Software City, Innovate UK, and British Educational Suppliers Associations (BESA). The company recently held an investment round and with the capital gained, plans to expand its team as well as grow its customer base.
