There is so must trust in those hired for their role and to make decisions. That's not to say you can't get feedback on work, but you are the ultimate decision-maker for your area. It means we can learn and move fast. You also have a lot of freedom to explore new ideas and possibilities. No idea is bad, and if you can show potential value, there's a lot of support to execute. You are accountable for your success and the success of your area in the business. And so, working at Earnr is great for anyone looking to grow and challenge themselves daily.

Everyone in the team brings new ideas and perspectives to the table. The team have varied interests, which is great because you always get insightful feedback. People are always looking for new ways to learn, different ways we can build and grow. And because of this, I trust everyone's decision here. We are a small team and so, not experts in everything. But, the team will go away and learn what they need to fix the issue or try something new. I feel like we develop really fast because of this.

Earnr is at such an exciting time in its journey, building new features and growing customers. Seeing customers review our product with amazing feedback is extremely exciting and opens lots of new possibilities and projects/areas to develop in. I can definitely feel momentum and excitement building!

I've been working for Earnr while a lot of changes have been happening in my personal life and I feel like they have been supportive the entire way. My relations with the team is such that no unnecessary stress is put on me which makes me happy to deal with the challenges that come with my actual work.

I've been hired as a backend engineer but I have been given the opportunity to work on frontend projects. Both the management and frontend developers are supportive of me doing so. This is a good example of the team's receptiveness to cater for employee growth, which is itself a good example of how Earnr aims to create positive feedback loops.

I think the bandwidth for meaningful communication is proportionate to the size of a team. With that caveat, I feel like Earnr strives to keep a good balance of formal and informal channels so that communication is to the point but always available. Many of my opinions have been heard and I am always made aware of what others are thinking. Bonus meta example: when the CEO asked us to write this, he asked us to highlight what we like about the company and that if there is anything we dislike, we can work on it. This has been true.

Efficient tax management is really hard for those who are just starting out or own a small business. There are a lot of quirks to consider that can help you optimise your income, but those require really good record keeping and knowledge of the tax law. Earnr simplifies all of this dramatically to the point where all you need to do is classify your transactions and quickly review tax submission. I think this will push a lot of people to start their businesses and save them a lot of money on taxes.

Company was started as remote-first due to tough Covid times, so naturally everyone was given a lot of autonomy with good company structure in place to facilitate this.

We are a small team, but everyone here is really good at what they do! This results in a very motivating environment and you can always rely on your teammates to answer your questions or resolve any issues fast.
