To empower individuals across the healthcare industry, giving patients control of their data, clinicians systems that enable them and researchers access to never seen before datasets.
Healthcare services, particularly in Europe, are struggling with stalling government funding while increasingly complex systems soak up resources.
Elmeas wants to relieve some of this pressure with a healthcare technology system built from first principles. That will mean reimagining everything from the integration of siloed patient data to the UI of tools used by doctors every day.
The startup is now focused on building out its founding engineering team as it emerges from stealth mode in 2022.
While the ambition of elmeas is certainly worthy, many startups have attempted to reshape the role of technology systems in healthcare only to find necessarily thrifty budget-holders blocking their paths. elmeas will have to overcome this inertia in order to have success.
