Our take

European energy markets are currently typified by low liquidity and extreme volatility, making it difficult for smaller players to safely engage in energy trading. This in turn means that the market is illiquid, constraining trade further and preventing investment in sustainable technologies. Believing that efficient energy markets are the key to unlocking a greener future, Enmacc provides an all-in-one energy trading platform that makes the trading process faster, more efficient and safer for small and medium players, adding more participants and more liquidity to the energy trading sector.

Its platform benefits both buyers and sellers with automated workflows and the ability to reach all other participants on the platform. This has garned it a rapidly growing client base of over 450 corporate customers and its network is used by around 2000 traders from institutions such as energy suppliers, trading firms and utility companies.

Enmacc has recently closed a Series B funding round led by Klima. It will use this investment to increase its presence in the European energy trading market and to expand its product offering beyond electricity and gas to green energy commodities such as carbon allowances in the near future.
