To help people wake up dancing. And we do this by unleashing the power of sleep wellness.
A new wave of mattress companies exploded onto the scene in 2015, delivering mattresses in a box straight to your door, when purchasing one previously required a trip to a retail park. eve was one of the pioneers of this trend, launching in the same year as their main competitors, Simba and Emma.
Since then, eve has developed into a sleep wellness brand. Setting out to help people get good sleep, the company have expanded into other areas including bed frames, bedding, CBD oil, and have also created a content platform for tips and advice around sleep wellness.

Eve is incredibly open and honest from top to bottom. There is relatively flat structure to the company and so the leaders of the business always dissipate information to all teams and don't keep anything from us. There is a monthly company meeting in which we are all kept abreast of all the important company news. Everyone is encouraged to share any mistakes they have made, and there is a real culture of being unafraid to make mistakes and learning from them.

Everyone is encouraged to speak up at eve. We are all working together towards the same goals and so all opinions are valued. The CEO even sits in the open plan office and is easy to grab if you have a quick thought you'd like to run by her! Anonymous comments can also be fedback to the company on a monthly basis which are then addressed by the leadership team.

We were many hats in this company and the ever fast paced rhythm means you need to adapt and get to learn new skills every day! People take the time to provide amazing training and the onboarding experience is thoughtful.

As everyone did in 2020, we mostly worked from home for the past year and half, and only recently started going back into the office. The current hybrid model is 3 days WFH and 2 days in office (one for company day on Weds + your team day).

We put the spotlight on our employees and their background and experiences! We have a monthly fireside chat where an employee will tell whoever wants to join a bit more about their life, where they come from and how they got to eve sleep. HR is currently making big efforts to enhance and support Diversity and Inclusion.

Eve is a scale-up, a lean business and you are trusted to do what you were hired to do and more. That means the breadth of exposure and autonomy you get in return is like no other. You step up and experience moments you may have come across later in your career, perhaps in a bigger business or a business without a strong foundation of trust.

Eve invests in mental health and well-being from support through Spill, which offers 1:1 therapy group conversations with your teams to understand your time is your time. We do not send emails or slack messages after a specific time or the weekend, and everyone respects others time outside of work. Most importantly, we work continuously to make it a safe work environment to talk about mental health openly. We celebrate mental well being through exec panels discussing how they have dealt with their mental health, to individuals sharing their experience of mental health management through our internal people blog.
