Company mission

To provide multi-dimensional system visibility with integrated incident lifecycle automation, empowering diverse teams, executives and vendors to coordinate and communicate better.

Our take

Flanksource is a lean-first Kubernetes company, purpose-built to enable enterprises to recognise the true value of and adopt Kubernetes through high penetration into their application stacks.

The company’s platform provides multi-dimensional system visibility to all systems including legacy, SaaS, enterprise software and cloud-native, enabling actionable application-level insights, unified work structures, rapid deployment, and more.

Whether developers prefer GitOps or ClickOps, the company’s innovative system is easily configurable through Kubernetes Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), which enables companies to use their favourite tools (Helm, Terraform, etc..) to define application health, configuration, topology, and alerting rules.

As the chosen mission control system for a range of companies (including ada, Discovery, BCB Group, OldMutual, and more), the young, remote-first company is focused on expanding its workforce and furthering the development of current and future service integrations. Funding awarded in 2023 will help it on its way to achieving these aims.
