The accounting, consulting and data-analytics market are difficult markets to break into, dominated by the big 4 and peppered with firms in the small to mid-sized tiers of the market who provide rich competition. Bucking the trend is flinder, within a few years, it has been able to grow from a startup to a mid-sized firm, and has received major praise from leading figures in the industry, winning Mid-Sized Practice of The Year at IRIS Customer Services Awards 2020.

This allows it to benefit from a wider potential market than much of its competition, as well as allowing it to offer more flexible and comprehensive services to its clients.
