gigl is a job platform that's setting out to bring the recruitment process into the 21st century. According to the company, Gen Z prefer consuming video content compared to written messaging. Therefore, gigl is challenging traditional recruitment methods through using 60 second video applications on their job seeking platform.
They differentiate themselves through saving businesses so much time in the application process. By using video applications and interviews, employers have access to more applications, take less time to review them and quickly get a sense of the personality of an individual.
gigl was founded in 2019 and its platform has been used by over 25k candidates. As recruitment becomes increasingly virtual, businesses are adapting and consequently demanding virtual talent acquisition solutions. Having expanded as a result of this, gigl is in a good position for future growth.
