heyRenee's mission is to ease the process of managing a patient's care.
Accessing care can prove a difficult process for many Americans - and the problem becomes more acute for underserved, low-income citizens, or those living with chronic conditions. Complex care needs and relative healthcare inaccessibility are two problems that the new healthtech platform heyRenee are looking to solve, with their new personal healthcare concierge service.
The service will offer features like measuring vitals and providing in-time prompts to take medication, which will be shared with a patient’s doctor to ensure complex routines are effective and carried out properly. It is a highly evolved version of the kind of telehealth care offered by a flurry of young startups - they instead focus on the simpler question of helping underserved Americans access virtual consultations or manage prescriptions for a single medical issue. heyRenee’s all-encompassing approach, with an emphasis on unobtrusive care, makes it a stand-out service in the field - and it’s won them attention.
Alongside an oversubscribed seed funding round, heyRenee are part of the inaugural PandemicX accelerator program run by the United States Department of Health and Human Services. HeyRenee will soon be beta testing on a pilot platform, with plans to launch in early 2022 and begin onboarding more customers in the latter half of the year. The combination of strong backing and a unique proposition will make them an interesting company to watch.
