Our take

In recent years, merely talking about sustainability has ceased to be good enough for many individuals and businesses who increasingly need to be able to understand the impact of their actions. hivve serves a particular niche of this market, enabling universities, researchers and stakeholders (from industry bodies through to policymakers) to understand, capture and demonstrate the impact of their research.

Founded in 2009, hivve has built a global reach, providing impact expertise to individuals and organisations from North America through to Oceania. As the focus on sustainability develops worldwide, having this early reach has undoubtedly been an advantage for hivve and will help it keep ahead of any new market entrants.

Until 2023 hivve was known as Vertigo Ventures. The name change is part of a wider rebranding initiative as the business further invests into developing its ImpactEcosystem - a family of products that helps individuals and organisations meet increasingly complex impact reporting requirements.
