To revolutionize the way we work out at home.
42% employee growth in 12 months
Americans are becoming increasingly aware in the importance of tracking their health. Existing digital health apps usually involve screen time. In an age where we spend most of our day looking at a smartphone or laptop, consumers are actively trying to reduce their exposure to digital displays.
Lululemon Studio designs ‘smart-mirror’ devices that provide an all-in-one immersive exercise experience without the use of blue-light screens. The startup provides exercise classes, visual feedback and health analytics to optimize the way we understand our health. Although competition from companies like Peleton and Hydrow is high, the company hopes to impress customers with their alternative hardware offering.
Only recently did the company recently rebrand to the 'Lululemon Studio' and this came with a notable price drop - costing half the price of a Peloton Bike - creating even more appeal in this crowded and competitive industry. Its goal is still to maintain the simple and immersive experiences currently provided by its smart mirrors whilst continuing to scale the company in new markets.
