Our take
Until recently, most products and parts have been designed in a handful of CAD systems, with underlying technology that has remained relatively constant for decades. Existing CAD software is restrictive in terms of its structural complexity, and ultimately represents a bottleneck for the industry.
nTop develops design software that uses mathematical computations, GPU acceleration, and other cutting-edge technologies to create a user-friendly 3D design experience. The GPU acceleration functionality allows for advanced engineering changes to be realized in real-time, something that would take long rendering periods on traditional CAD software.
The company has an impressive number of clients, including big names like Ford, Lockheed Martin and Honeywell. It has also raised considerable funding that supports its further development and the addition of new features for its software.
