It provides a collaborative platform which includes tools for data observability and orchestration. It's also the central source of truth for all machine learning metadata used by a company, which makes locating and fixing issues far easier for engineers. This has been seized on with alacrity by numerous machine learning teams: over 30,000 engineers in around 500 teams have logged millions of hours on the platform since its founding.

Neptune has raised a significant amount of funding which is being used to further develop the platform, as well as to build out more integrations within the machine learning development ecosystem.
