To build the best place for people to organise, analyse and monetise their opinions by enabling communities to easily create databases build for opinions that are beautiful, social and super fun to use.

Our take

Opinions possess profound depth and meaning, yet they are frequently disregarded or undervalued. quester aims to rectify this and contribute to the creation of a more thoughtful society.

By establishing a platform that facilitates the sharing and discussion of diverse resources, quester encourages individuals to express their opinions, engage in reflective thinking, and elevate the level of discourse. Moreover, through its platform, quester aims to cultivate a real love for learning, enabling individuals to embrace knowledge as a lifelong pursuit.

Since launching the site in early 2022, quester is now home to over 450 communities. While predominantly embraced by students, the platform has also become a space for founders, writers, gamers and developers alike. This diverse user base reflects the inclusive nature of Quester, fostering an environment where individuals from various backgrounds and interests can connect, collaborate, and engage in meaningful interactions.

Benefits

  • Pension: 3% employer contribution, against 5% for employees
  • Holidays: 30 days off (including bank holidays) per year, with 15 days you can carry over per year, with a maximum holiday allowance capped at 45 days per year
  • Health: Standard sick leave. In addition, 3 months of full paid maternity leave & 1.5 months of full paid paternity leave. Access to private health insurance
  • Commuting: We cover partial travel costs for you to get into the office, even if you live further out of London
  • Bikes: We cover half your costs of biking (capped at £250) so you can get into the office
  • Overtime: Reasonable breakfast & dinner costs paid for if working early or late for a deadline, as well as taxis so you can get in or home easier
  • Learning: Any reasonable learning costs incurred related to your work, we will pay for. Take 2 hours each week to learn something new and debrief as a team
  • Development: Every two months you will have time with a team leader to discuss your personal development. Every quarter you will do a performance review with our CEO
  • Sabbatical: After every year as quester, you can take 1 week of paid leave in addition to a holiday to pursue a passion project we fund (capped at £250 per week)
  • Remote: One month per year where you can work fully remotely without being present for office hours
  • Office: Lovely work environment with great equipment, free games, drinks and food, with regular breaks encouraged!
