Online "edu-tainment" materials are commonly used to supplement the education of children, often existing in the form of games and quizzes. Whilst these are useful for memorizing the answers to questions and assessing knowledge, their focus on multiple choice answers leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to explaining and understanding harder-to-grasp concepts.
Simpleclub develops a personalized educational app to supplement students’ education, with the aim of helping users understand school material quicker and pass exams with better grades. The application includes thousands of videos, animations, and in-depth explanations for all major study areas in addition to mock exams and analytics to identify areas of improvement.
Whilst many websites and applications provide games, multiple-choice quizzes, and other edutainment material to help young people study, simpleclub has taken a unique approach by focussing on providing a deeper understanding of difficult-to-grasp concepts. Furthermore, the application approaches edutainment from a more formal angle, focussing on matching school syllabuses, mock exams, and teacher endorsement over games and casual learning. Following a further €3 million injection of capital in mid 2023, the company is set to maintain its momentum.
