Our take

Searching for a new home has always been difficult for buyers, with antiquated search engines, properties hidden away in private listings and aggressive real estate agents eager to convert leads into sales. Zenlist aims to put a stop to this, with a collaborative property search ecosystem, providing a seamless and guided journey from the beginning of a property search to receiving the keys to the new home.

The residential real estate sector is heating up, and Zenlist faces intense competition from the likes of Nomad Homes and Entera. However, it is unique in combining offerings from local public property listings as well as pre-market and private listings from its network of brokerage partners. Additionally, the company is able to protect home buyers on the platform from being captured as leads - they interact only with their own real estate agent from the beginning to the end of their engagement.

Launched in 2020, Zenlist has rapidly expanded in the US market. It is continuing to increase its network of partnerships, develop its product and build out its team, with the ultimate goal to completely overhaul the home-buying experience all across the United States.
