Who you are
Proven experience in a social media role, ideally within the arts and culture sector
Strong understanding of and hands-on experience with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
Excellent writing skills with a flair for storytelling tailored to digital platforms
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and content calendars simultaneously
Experience editing and optimizing content for various platforms in line with technical specifications and brand guidelines
Ability to coordinate content production, including photo and video shoots
Comfortable working remotely while attending occasional client events in London outside of core working hours
A genuine interest in the arts and knowledge of the London/ Global art scene
Desirable
Proficiency in social media content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut) and content management systems (CMS).
Experience managing content production workflows, including photoshoots, video shoots, and editorial content for galleries, museums, or cultural institutions
Skills in one or more of the following: Videography, Photography, Graphic Design, Video Editing, Copywriting
Existing network of influencers or experience cultivating influencer partnerships
Familiarity with social media influencer partnerships, SEO and digital PR strategies.
Passion for contemporary art, museums, and cultural storytelling, ideally with prior exposure to the London art scene
What the job involves
Managing and growing social media accounts for arts and culture clients, with a focus on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
Creating, editing, and scheduling high-quality content—including Reels, videos, carousels, Stories, and static posts
Developing and maintaining strategic content calendars across multiple clients and channels
Coordinating and overseeing on-site content production (filming, photography, interviews, behind-the-scenes coverage)
Editing pre-produced content for platform optimization and brand consistency
Writing engaging, on-brand social media copy and campaign messaging
Collaborating with artists, galleries, and external creatives to deliver campaigns for exhibitions, fairs, events, and product launches
Supporting the delivery of influencer marketing campaigns and identifying strategic partnerships
Monitoring social media analytics and preparing performance reports to inform strategy
Staying up to date with trends in digital marketing, creative tools, and platform algorithms
Attending gallery openings, art fairs, and client events in London as a representative of the agency (some evenings and weekends required)
