Role
Who you are
- Experience working in strategy for a large e-commerce or social commerce business. With a minimum 3-5 year experience in the field
- Passion for delivering outstanding e-commerce experiences to users
- Strong understand of existing e-comm tech market place, and ability to recommend and implement tech solutions to build a new social commerce platform from the ground up
- Ability to spot gaps in the existing e-commerce marketplace to help create competitive advantages for SUMUS
- Experience building and optimising user journeys from sign-up to purchase, and beyond, to help create meaningful connections with users at every stage of the journey
- Believe in our vision: helping our Users build deeper connections to their favourite brands and empower them to monetise their own data and app activity
- Share our vision for building a great technology product and to help design a truly innovative app and help take it to market

What the job involves
- We are looking for a dynamic leader, who will lead the E-commerce team in Sumus, operating multiple brands in the platform, ensuring they maintain their brand identity and acquiring the leading ones in the online sector.
- The Head of e-commerce will work to develop the specific digital strategies for all brands and users. Ideal candidates will have a overall strong knowledge in the online sector and great commercial acumen
- Working with the CEO & CMO to develop the Sumus e-commerce strategies for the platform prior to launch and after launching. You will own the full commerce operation and influence the development decisions
- As a start up continually analyse app development and commercial performance to maximise its trading existence and user experience
- Assist with the integration of new projects forming part of the platform. Use internal software suite to coordinate with the team
- Empowering our users to monetise their data and build deeper connections to their favourite brands
