Our take

Crafty aims to put that awkward chat as you make coffee in the office kitchen a thing of the past, with its platform to spice up and manage your office food and drink supplies.

At its core, the idea is simple. Crafty delivers all your food and drink to all your offices, and puts your budgets and data for everything in one place. A simple, but surprisingly unique idea. Where it excels, however, is in the range kitchen-related services it piles on top. The platform adapts to remote and hybrid working models, with food boxes for at-home employees or ‘Crafty Credit’ for the WFH-ers to order supplies for themselves. Need to cater a lunch? Crafty links you up with local suppliers. It even offers to set up run a mini coffee-shop station inside your office.

Crafty has cornered a gap in the market, particularly with its provisions for the burgeoning number of businesses adopting remote or hybrid working. It’s made clients of companies like PayPal, Yelp, and Duolingo, and its recent fundraising is being focussed on expanding their technology, product and sales teams.

Company values

  • We obsess over the client: Our clients drive all that we do. With understanding and patience, we constantly seek to uncover their wants, needs, and preferences. Requests from our clients invigorate us. Each one is an opportunity for us to build upon our service, strengthen trust, and delight those we serve
  • We are a team: We strive to do what's right for the team and understand that teamwork is built with respect, selflessness, and empathy. No job is too big or too small. We are not ego-driven. Instead, we are driven to help each other be the best we can be, knowing that our individual ambitions don't compare to what we can accomplish as a group
  • We explore different perspectives: With respect and humility, we challenge opinions and ideas no matter the source. We think critically about the status quo, knowing that disagreement produces more thoughtful, viable solutions. Giving and receiving feedback fuels honest, open discussion that allows us to be even more committed to decisions than before
  • We embrace challenges: When the going gets tough, we get tougher. When things don't go as planned, we come together and step up to face the obstacles ahead. We address problems not with negativity but with the optimism of knowing that challenges improve ourselves and our practices
  • We build, then rebuild: Undefined spaces present opportunities to build defined systems. As our business evolves, we succeed because we continually serve our clients in smarter ways. As builders, we take ownership of our roles. We're at our best when we push ourselves and our teammates to do more than what's good enough
