To foster a global community of individuals empowered to pursue the work they love.
10% employee growth in 12 months
General Assembly are building a classroom-to-career pipeline, with the aim of empowering people to pursue work that they love. At the same time, they want to be seen as an innovation in hiring and upskilling and be recognised as helping to diversify the digital workforce.
They offer a long list of courses for in-demand skills such as coding, UX and design, marketing, and product management. The market for these courses has grown substantially (around 10x) since GA launched and large companies like IBM and L'Oréal hire alumni.
Now owned by staffing giant Adecco, GA will have all the resources they need to continue to grow. The test will be making sure they continue to innovate under new ownership.
