To provide customers from agribusinesses to the government real-time thermal infrared data, which can be used for solutions from drought prediction to ecosystem monitoring to disease vector mapping.
Hydrosat uses a fleet of Earth observation satellites to provide real-time thermal infrared data. helping businesses, governments, and farmers track water stress, predict crop yields, and monitor climate impacts.
The company is riding high, having recently secure a $1.9M contract with the US Air Force to enhance weather predications models using its thermal satellite data. This contract marks Hydorsat's fifth with the Air Force, helping improve weather forecasting and decision-making for the US military and also expanding the company's footprint in defense.
This contract comes after the company secured substantial Series A funding, which helped launch its first operational satellite and build a 16-satellite constellation. Already reaping the rewards of its funding, the company will no doubt see even more success in the future.
