Our take

Kadence (formerly Chargifi) builds smart workspace management solutions. By using its solution, employees can access live insights about the workspace, such as available desks and rooms, while space planners can optimise the use of spaces by accessing occupancy data.

The company differentiates itself through its use of wireless charging spots in order to gather data about the workspace. For example, when employees occupy spaces, those locations become unavailable on the app due to the fact that they are placing their phones on a smart wireless charging spot that gathers data about occupancy, informing the other employees that they should look for a different space. After the employees leave, those places become available after they are cleaned by professional cleaners.

The service provided by Kadence is used by over 90 organisations in more than 20 countries. The company already counts Robin, Zoom, Microsoft, Envoy, HP Enterprise, Aruba and R/GA among its clients and partners.
