Our take

First born in Stanford Design School's lauded k12 Innovation Lab in response to growing youth mental health crises, Project Wayfinder set out to reimagine adolescent education.

The platform is now used by over tens of thousands of students around the world, and is focused on developing adolescents' sense of belonging, purpose and meaning. Wayfinder's system is a constantly evolving, research-based social-emotional learning curriculum that can be integrated into schools' wellness programs.

During and after the pandemic, Wayfinder repurposed to focus on building digital versions of its curriculum which is now the common form of its offering. It is a well-funded company that has invested in continued product development, broadened sales efforts and research into the program's impact.
