Who you are
- The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating cross-functionally to optimize financial processes and deliver actionable analysis to leadership teams
- 3+ of experience in a FP&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or similar roles
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Proficiency in building and maintaining financial and operational models
- Proficiency with accounting principles and strong understanding of the financial statements
- Extensive experience with financial modeling tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Tableau)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience collaborating with C-suite and high level executives in a professional setting
- Proven track record of ability to handle ambiguity and a fast-paced environment

What the job involves
- We’re looking for an FP&A analyst on the team to help manage relationships with budget owners including but not limited to headcount planning, opex line items, and ad hoc projects
- We are seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our finance team and drive strategic insights around operating expenditures
- This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to build comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and headcount planning models that support CoreWeave's rapid growth
- Partner with business leaders to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing strategic guidance on resource allocation and cost optimization
- Collaborate with accounting team on monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis to identify trends, drive corrective actions, and maintain data integrity across all financial reporting
- Lead ad hoc financial analysis projects to drive operational efficiency improvements across the organization
Our take
Many cloud service providers can suffer from slow prediction speeds when they are used for data modeling. CoreWeave solves this problem with its specialized cloud service provider.
CoreWeave reduces prediction times and makes service requests faster and more efficient. This, in turn, cuts cloud costs considerably. This has proven to be a strong draw for many companies, with CoreWeave signing a lucrative partnership with GPU heavyweight NVIDIA as well as partnering with BitOoda, which has allowed it to expand its operations to the financial market.
However, in 2023 it closed three very significant rounds of funding (Series B and debt and secondary extensions), which is being invested into expanding its US-based data centers, opening two new ones in the coming year. The question remains whether, despite 2023's big investments in the sector, CoreWeave can maintain this momentum and whether generative AI's stock will continue to rise.
