Role
Who you are
- You are currently enrolled in your last year of an Engineering School/University with a Cybersecurity or Computer science specialization, already based in Spain (priority to Barcelona-based students)
- You have knowledge of the ISO 27001 standard
- You have knowledge of Artificial Intelligence systems
- Ability to work in an international environment
- You are fluent in English
- You are looking for a 6 month, full-time role (35h/week), internship (March 2025 - September 2025) based in Barcelona, Spain
- Your school can provide an internship agreement & you are authorized to work in Spain (EU Nationality or in possession of valid student visa/work permit)
What the job involves
- Within Back Market’s Bureau of Technology, the intern will join the GRC squad who are responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with laws and standards (specifically ISO 27001 & GDPR), and being responsible for demonstrating Back Market’s security maturity to external third parties
- The objective of the internship is to design and implement an automated solution that will help our team answer our external third parties' security questionnaires
- The target is to develop a solution that will leverage Artificial Intelligence solutions to draft answers to the questionnaires and save time
- GRC Activities Exploration: Learn about GRC activities in a complex and rapidly-evolving environment
- ISO 27001 Compliance: Gain hands-on experience linking ISO 27001 compliance to a scale-up context
- AI: Design, test and implement an automated questionnaire-answering solution
- Independent Project Management: Take charge of a cybersecurity project independently, transforming identified needs into practical solutions
- Practical Problem Solving: Tackle actual problems using well-known and cloud-based tooling suites such as Confluence, Google Suite, GCP, Github, and more
- Professional Development: Be part of a collaborative team of cybersecurity experts dedicated to guiding your professional development
