Who you are
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure or network software
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern DevOps practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent
- Demonstrated experience managing remote offshore contractor teams, including setting clear expectations, maintaining alignment across time zones, and ensuring quality delivery
Desirable
- Strong understanding of DDI technologies, cloud-native architectures, and API-first design
- Prior work with DNS, DHCP, IPAM platforms or network security solutions
- Familiarity with BlueCat Integrity or similar platforms (e.g., Infoblox NIOS, EfficientIP)
- Contributions to open-source projects or standards in networking or infrastructure
What the job involves
- We’re seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to lead the Integrity applications team
- You’ll be responsible for driving execution for value-added applications on top of the Integrity platform – initially focused on analytics
- This role is pivotal in delivering the next wave of innovation for Integrity X and ensuring our platform continues to meet the evolving needs of enterprise customers
- Lead and grow a team of software engineers in Canada, Serbia and contractors in Vietnam focused on Integrity’s value added services
- Drive execution of product roadmap initiatives in collaboration with Product Management and Architecture
- Champion engineering excellence, including CI/CD, test automation, and secure coding practices
- Guide the team through architectural modernization, including RESTful API development and UI/UX enhancements
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless delivery of features across on-prem and cloud deployments
- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement
