Role
Who you are
- 4+ years of experience in public/private cloud support
- Intermediate to deep understanding of service and components of enterprise cloud capacity operations
- Experience in fast-paced operations and engineering environments
- Experience in DNS/DHCP and PXE boot kickstart process and bare metal/rack deployments
- Solid knowledge of Linux systems and virtualization technologies (VMware, VROps, etc.)
- Linux System Admin skills preferably working knowledge of Centos and RedHat
- Develop BASH or Python scripts to perform repetitive operation tasks. Experience with PowerCLI is a plus
- Basic understanding of enterprise-class server hardware eg. Dell
- Basic understanding of storage concepts such as NFS, and iSCSI
- Collaborate with partner teams to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Team collaboration and fit are essential
Desirable
- Basic understanding of ServiceNow asset management
- Storage configuration concepts configuration and experience
- Intermediate to advanced network troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of Puppet configuration management
- Good to have API development, Ansible, Python, Linux shell scripting, and PowerShell
- Experience with the ServiceNow Platform is a bonus
- Participate in follow-the-sun organization
- Knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL is a plus
What the job involves
- We are an Operations team that is responsible for the capacity of ServiceNow customers
- Manage, monitor, and manipulate the server farm behind ServiceNow’s cloud
- Work directly on/with the servers to enable and optimize capacity utilization for ServiceNow’s customer base
- Enhance processes and tools necessary to simplify and provide consistent project execution
- Provide proactive management and innovation to ensure 100% success of ServiceNow cloud automation

The company is prioritising organic growth over mergers and acquisitions, with a target revenue of $15 billion, something which its Visa partnership will no doubt aid in achieving.
