Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys data-informed experimentation, and is energized by fast learning cycles and continuously learning new technologies
- You should be an engineer who is AI native and curious - someone who uses AI tools daily to accelerate development, improve code quality, and meaningfully incorporate AI into user-facing experiences
- 5-7+ years of professional software development experience
- A full-stack mindset with willingness to work across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and experimentation tooling
- A data-informed perspective - comfortable implementing data tracking, analyzing metrics, interpreting experiment results, and using insights to guide iteration
- A collaborative, product-minded engineer who enjoys working directly with design and PM partner
- Someone who embraces fast iteration, incomplete information, and continuous learning
- An AI-native engineer who knows how to select, use, learn, and apply AI tools effectively in both development and product experiences
Desirable

- CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions or similar)
- Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem (Lambda, ECS, RDS, k8s, containerized applications)
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Growth Pod - a fast-moving, experiment-driven group focused on building features that increase user engagement and accelerate product adoption
- This is a hands-on technical role where you will rapidly prototype, iterate, and ship features that directly shape how educators and students experience Kiddom
- You’ll work within a small, agile team of 3–4 engineers, collaborating closely with product and design to bring impactful ideas to life
- Build end-to-end solutions from React/TypeScript frontends to GoLang and Python backend services (being highly experienced in one of these can be sufficient)
- Rapidly prototype new ideas and ship iterative features using lean development principles
- Partner and support other engineers on the team in related work in the development lifecycle
- Analyze performance and user engagement data to assess feature quality and propose improvements
- Turn product concepts into robust, scalable solutions while balancing speed and long-term maintainability
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and data partners to test hypotheses and deliver measurable outcomes
- Work with advanced technologies, including AI/LLM integrations, and leverage AI tools to enhance engineering velocity and product quality
- Contribute to architectural decisions, tooling enhancements, and best practices across the stack
Our take
Digital education has become an increasing reality in recent years. Whilst services such as Zoom have provided platforms for remote teaching, the minimal functionality of such services has outlined the lack of digital engagement tools that classrooms require.
Kiddom develops a collaborative learning platform for K-12 schooling, with integrated solutions for remote teaching, in-person school and homework assignments. The platform allows teachers to assign tasks and to collaborate with students on them, whilst the software gathers data to provide insights on student engagement and performance.
The startup currently provides its services to individual teachers for free, but solutions for inter-institutional curriculums come at an annual subscription fee. Kiddom’s approach aims to fill the gap between remote and in-school teaching, at the same time as integrating student analytics to optimize and personalize the way students are educated.
