Who you are
- We’re on the lookout for a creative, highly motivated, results-oriented Brand Manager to help drive and define the Warby Parker brand
- Backed by 5+ years of integrated brand marketing, project management, creative operations, or related experience
- Equipped with effective project management and communication skills (your operational standards for budgets, calendars, timelines, and efficiencies are sky-high!)
- A highly creative and non-traditional thinker who is not afraid to question the status quo and is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

What the job involves
- In this role, you’ll use your strategic understanding and creative vision to enhance brand awareness and drive new customer growth
- You’ll be responsible for leading the strategic development, planning, and execution of both product expansions and high-priority marketing initiatives, including the growth of our insurance business
- With each project, you’ll play a key role in Warby Parker’s success in transforming the eyewear industry while also demonstrating that for-profit companies can do good in the world
- Work with teams across the organization to drive the strategic development, planning, and execution of integrated marketing programs and campaigns in support of our ambitious growth objectives
- Lead projects and seasonal campaigns that create demand for our products, enhance brand awareness, and drive consumer advocacy—all while upholding a smooth cross-functional process
- Develop marketing strategies that support the growth of our insurance expansion
- Leverage consumer insights to assess how we can make our brand, product, and seasonal messages resonate best with our target customer
- Partner with the Growth team on select media efforts and paid advertising creative including DRTV and direct mail
- Provide key brand guidance and support for designated internal departments and all of their brand-related needs
- Assist in the creation of a long-term strategic marketing framework for the brand
- Be a “keeper of the brand” and constantly work to clarify, articulate, and execute creative marketing programs that embody Warby Parker’s unique qualities
- Optimize processes to ensure on-strategy programs are executed on time and on budget
- Juggle multiple critical, time-sensitive, and high-visibility projects within the Brand team
Our take
They say every great idea starts with a problem, and Warby Parker kept it simple - glasses were just too expensive. Inspired by the need to have great-looking frames that didn’t break the bank, the co-founders set out to disrupt the legacy-dominated eyewear market.
Going up against Luxottica was no easy feat. They are the name behind Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Persol, as well as licence holders with Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, and many more. However, by circumventing traditional manufacturing methods, using in-house design, and engaging with customers directly, Warby Parker was able to provide high-quality and good-looking prescription glasses at a fraction of the cost.
The company's retail category disruption has led to it being one of the most successful direct-to-consumer brands of the early 21st century. Late 2021 saw Warby Parker debut an initial public offering (IPO), giving it the liquidity for the 10% footprint increase without stressing cash flow. Since then, it has found continued success and made a number of fund raises and high-profile collaborations to raise brand awareness and bring its affordable, stylish glasses to even more consumers.
